This Privacy Policy explains how Swishh Laundry & Dry Cleaning (“Swishh”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use our website swishhlaundry.in, the Swishh mobile app, our WhatsApp ordering line, and our laundry & dry-cleaning services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to pick up, clean and return your clothes:
- Contact details — your name, phone number (including the WhatsApp number you message us from), and email.
- Pickup & delivery address — the address and any access notes you provide so our team can collect and drop off your order.
- Order information — the items you send, garment counts, service type, special instructions, photos you share of a stain or garment, and your order history.
- Approximate location — only if you grant the app location permission, used to confirm you’re inside our service area (Aerocity, Mohali) and to assign a delivery slot. You can decline and still order manually.
- Payment information — in-app payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive a confirmation of payment but do not store your full card, UPI or bank credentials on our servers.
- Device & usage data — basic, privacy-friendly analytics (see §5).
2. How we use your information
- To schedule pickups, process and deliver your laundry and dry-cleaning orders.
- To communicate order updates, confirmations and delivery ETAs over WhatsApp, SMS, in-app notifications or email.
- To take payment and issue receipts.
- To provide customer support and resolve damage, loss or quality issues.
- To send offers and promotions only where you’ve opted in — you can unsubscribe any time.
- To improve our Services, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.
3. WhatsApp & messaging
A large part of ordering happens over WhatsApp. Messages you send us there are also governed by WhatsApp’s own Privacy Policy. We use your messages solely to take and fulfil your order and to support you.
4. Payments
In-app payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway. Your card, UPI and banking details are entered on Razorpay’s secure systems and are governed by their privacy policy — we never see or store them. We retain only the transaction reference and amount for accounting and refunds.
5. Cookies & analytics
Our website uses a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool that does not track you across other websites, does not build an advertising profile, and does not collect personally identifying information. We use it only to understand aggregate traffic (such as page views and which buttons are popular) so we can improve the site.
6. When we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Our delivery & processing team — the people who collect, clean and return your clothes, limited to what they need (name, address, order, phone).
- Service providers — payment gateways, messaging, hosting and analytics partners, bound to handle data only on our instructions.
- Legal & safety — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, customers and staff.
7. Mobile app permissions
The Swishh app may request the following, each optional and used only as described:
- Location — to confirm service-area coverage and pre-fill your pickup address.
- Notifications — to send order and delivery updates.
- Camera / photos — only if you choose to attach a photo of a garment or stain.
You can change or revoke any of these in your device settings at any time.
8. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as you have an account or active orders with us, and afterwards only as long as needed for legitimate business, accounting, tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data (see §9).
9. How we protect your data
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — encrypted connections, access controls and trusted service providers — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will notify you and the authorities of a significant breach as required by law.
10. Your rights
You may, at any time, request to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate details;
- Delete your account and personal data (subject to legal retention duties);
- Withdraw consent for marketing messages.

11. Children’s privacy
The Services are intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we’ll remove it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, give notice through the app or website. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
