These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Services provided by Swishh Laundry & Dry Cleaning (“Swishh”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order — through the website, the Swishh app, or WhatsApp — you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully, especially Section 9 on liability for loss or damage.
1. Eligibility & service area
You must be 18 or older to use the Services. We currently pick up and deliver within Aerocity, Mohali only (near Plaksha University). Orders outside this area cannot be accepted until we expand.
2. Our services
We provide per-piece laundry, wash & fold, steam pressing and dry-cleaning, with free doorstep pickup and delivery. Service availability, items accepted, and add-ons may change at our discretion.
3. Placing an order
You can order via the Swishh app or by messaging us on WhatsApp at +91 90410 20064. An order is confirmed once we acknowledge it and schedule a pickup. The garment count and condition are finalised when our team physically receives and inspects your items at our facility.
4. Pricing & estimates
Prices shown on the website and app are per piece and indicative. The final amount is confirmed after we physically count and inspect your garments, since fabric, size and treatment can affect the rate. Any price difference will be shared with you before processing. We may revise our price list at any time; the price applicable is the one confirmed for your order.
5. Payment
In-app payments (UPI, cards and other supported methods) are processed securely through Razorpay, or you may pay as otherwise agreed at delivery. Your payment-method details are handled by Razorpay and are subject to their terms; see our Privacy Policy for how payment data is handled. We reserve the right to hold delivery until due payment is received.
6. Pickup & delivery
- You agree to be available, or to make your items accessible, at the scheduled pickup and delivery window.
- If our team cannot reach you or access the address after reasonable attempts, we may reschedule; repeated failed attempts may incur a re-trip charge.
- Please count and hand over items clearly. Our receipt of items is based on the count recorded at pickup or on inspection at our facility.
7. Turnaround times
Standard turnaround is approximately 24–48 hours, and express options where available. Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees, and may be longer for delicate fabrics, heavy stains, specialty dry-cleaning, bulk orders, or due to weather, holidays or circumstances beyond our control.
8. Your responsibilities & garment condition
- Empty all pockets and remove valuables, jewellery, cash, cards, accessories, pins and detachable parts before handover. We are not responsible for items left in garments.
- Declare special items — designer, embellished, leather, silk, woollen, branded or high-value garments — and any pre-existing damage or stains, so we can advise the right care.
- We rely on the manufacturer’s care label. Where a garment has no care label, is mislabelled, or is inherently delicate, it is cleaned at the owner’s risk.
- Certain results cannot be guaranteed: complete removal of old, set or unknown stains; prevention of colour bleeding, shrinkage, fading or texture change inherent to the fabric; or repair of pre-existing weakness. These are characteristics of the garment, not a service defect.
9. Liability for loss or damage
Our maximum liability for any item that is lost or damaged due to our proven negligence is limited to 10× the cleaning charge of that specific item, capped at ₹3,000 per item — regardless of the item’s purchase price or sentimental value. By using the Services you accept this limit, which reflects standard practice in the laundry industry.
- Claims for loss or damage must be raised within 48 hours of delivery, with your order reference. Claims after this window may not be entertained.
- We are not liable for: damage arising from the fabric’s own nature or care-label limitations; pre-existing damage, wear, or weakness; colour run, shrinkage or fading; items without a care label cleaned at owner’s risk; or valuables left in garments.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss.
- A lost item is one not located within 7 days of a reported claim; compensation is then settled per the cap above.
10. Unclaimed garments
Please accept delivery promptly. Garments that remain undelivered or uncollected for more than 90 days after we attempt delivery — despite our reasonable efforts to reach you — may be donated to charity or disposed of, and we shall have no further liability for them. Any pending dues remain payable.
11. Re-cleaning & quality
If you’re not satisfied with the cleaning of an item, tell us within 24 hours of delivery and we’ll re-clean it free of charge. Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our Refunds & Cancellations policy.
12. App & account use
You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You agree not to misuse the Services, attempt to disrupt them, or use them for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
13. Promotions & offers
Offers, discounts and app-exclusive deals are subject to their own terms, are time-limited, may not be combined, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice.
14. Intellectual property
The Swishh name, logo, app, website, content and design are our property and protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our written permission.
15. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, utility or supply failures, strikes, civil disruption, or government action.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and except as set out in Section 9, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order in question. The Services are provided on an “as available” basis.
17. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the Services means you accept the revised Terms.
